Senior Packaging Procurement Specialist

ABCO Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Packaging Procurement Specialist to join our procurement team.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sourcing and managing packaging materials within manufacturing environments, with a proven ability to optimize costs, ensure quality, and maintain supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities:Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all packaging materials, including:Plastic containers and bottlesCaps and closuresLabels and shrink sleevesCarton boxes and corrugated packagingFlexible packaging materials and filmsSource, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quality, cost, and delivery terms.Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international packaging suppliers.Conduct market analysis and identify alternative sources to reduce costs and supply risks.Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure packaging materials meet technical specifications and production requirements.Monitor supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure timely availability of packaging materials to avoid production interruptions.Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving initiatives, and purchasing forecasts.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in Packaging Procurement, preferably within manufacturing companies.Strong knowledge of packaging materials, specifications, and supplier markets.Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.Experience in FMCG, chemicals, lubricants, or industrial manufacturing companies is highly preferred.
