Supply Chain Operations Manager

Job PurposeThe Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day supply chain operations to ensure reliable procurement, inventory availability, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and compliance with company policies and service-level targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, warehousing, order fulfillment, and logistics.Ensure on-time delivery to customers by setting operational plans and monitoring performance against KPIs/SLAs.Lead and optimize processes for purchasing, receiving, storage, stock control, and distribution to maintain accuracy and efficiency.Oversee inventory management activities: reorder points, safety stock, stock rotation, slow-moving stock, and inventory accuracy.Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Technical teams to forecast demand and align supply plans accordingly.Ensure all supply chain activities comply with local regulations, company procedures, and applicable quality/medical-device requirements (if relevant).Manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and freight forwarders; ensure service quality and cost control.Support tendering and sourcing activities when required, including vendor evaluation and negotiation support.Monitor supply chain risks (lead times, supplier disruptions, customs delays) and implement mitigation plans.Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational dashboards to ensure consistent execution.Supervise, coach, and manage supply chain operation staff and/or coordinators; ensure performance and accountability.Ensure proper documentation and traceability for shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.10+ years of experience in supply chain operations with at least 2+ years in a managerial role (adjust as needed).Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, warehousing operations, and logistics.Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and reporting tools.Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.
