Sustainability Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to lead and drive sustainability initiatives within our textile manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies that improve environmental and social performance, ensure compliance with international sustainability standards, and support the company’s long-term ESG goals.

Develop and execute the company’s sustainability strategy and ESG roadmap.Monitor and improve environmental performance, including:Energy efficiencyWater consumptionWaste reductionChemical managementCarbon footprint reductionEnsure compliance with sustainability certifications and standards such as:GOTSOEKO-TEXHigg IndexISO 14001ZDHCCollaborate with sourcing, production, and quality teams to implement sustainable textile practices.Conduct supplier sustainability assessments and audits.Prepare ESG and sustainability reports for management and external stakeholders.Track sustainability KPIs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.Lead employee awareness and sustainability training programs.Stay updated on textile sustainability regulations, innovations, and market trends.Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Textile Engineering, Sustainability, or related field.5+ years of experience in sustainability management within the textile, apparel, or manufacturing sector.Strong knowledge of textile production processes and sustainable materials.Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and international compliance standards.Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.Proficiency in sustainability data analysis and reporting tools.Preferred Skills
